Open Source Statement

Lichee-Jack is a fully open-source hardware and software project. All source code, documentation, and design files are publicly available and intended to be studied, modified, and redistributed under the terms of the applicable open-source licenses.

Lichee-Jack is inspired by devices such as the Hak5 SharkJack, but it is not a copy, clone, or derivative work of SharkJack firmware, hardware, or proprietary assets. All implementations are independently designed and developed.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Lichee-Jack software is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL-3.0).

This means:

  • You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute the software
  • Any redistributed or modified versions must also be released under GPL-3.0
  • Source code must be made available when distributing binaries

Hardware design files (schematics, PCB layouts, 3D models) are released under open-source hardware–friendly licenses where applicable.
